Duckbills Canopy Anchors are driven into the ground (no holes, no digging, no concrete!). Duckbill Anchors provide a safe and environmentally sensitive installation. - Aluminum Anchor 15 inch cable or choose anchors only
- 1/8" Stainless Steel Wire Cable, (longer lasting than galvanized wire cable!)
- Copper cable sleeves (improves life in high moisture areas)
- 1100 lbs average holding in "Normal" soil conditions. This will vary with moisture, soil composition, and depth of anchor.
An upward pull on the anchor tendon rotates the Duckbill into a perpendicular "anchor lock" position in undisturbed soil. NOTE: You will need to purchase the Drive Rod unless you have a 1/2" steel rod (approx. 36" long) to drive anchors in the ground using a hammer. (The drive rod is removed from the ground and reused for the rest of your Duckbill Anchor installations.) |
